Starting April 30th, ATM cards will no longer be supported. To continue accessing your funds conveniently, you have the following options:

If you currently have a checking account:

• If you already have a debit card linked to your checking account, you can use it to withdraw cash at ATMs and make purchases anywhere debit cards are accepted.
• If you do not currently have a debit card, you can have a free card printed instantly at any of our branches. If you prefer to have one mailed to you, please call us or email us using the contact information below and we can facilitate your request.

If you do NOT currently have a checking account

• Open a Checking Account: If you do not currently have a checking account, we encourage you to open one following the instructions below. With a checking account, you’ll receive a debit card that provides seamless access to your funds, including ATM withdrawals and additional features like online purchases and direct deposit.
• Visit a branch: If you do not wish to open a checking account, but would still like to be able to withdraw funds, you can visit any of our convenient branch locations. For a list of locations, click here.

How to open a checking account:

• Apply online by clicking the button below and choosing "Existing Member Account".
• Call an Essential representative at 888.369.2207.
• Contact us via email at eservices@essentialcu.org if you have questions or need assistance.
• Visit any branch and speak in-person with a Member Service Representative.

Already a Member?

1. Log in to online or mobile banking.
2. Select “Add a New Account” under the Apply Now section.
3. Open your checking account instantly and start enjoying your new benefits.
