Join Essential Credit Union: Serving Greater Baton Rouge and Beyond with Expanded Membership Options!

Essential is a state-chartered Credit Union with a wide field of membership.

Louisiana: Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in the nine parishes of the Greater Baton Rouge Community—East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Ascension, Livingston, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, and St. Helena—can join. 

Texas: You can become a member if you or a family member are affiliated with Priority Postal or the Post Office in cities like Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Seabrook, Pearland East, Pearland West, South Houston, Channelview, and Galena Park. Membership is also open through the Texas Consumer Council, reflecting our dedication to serving an even wider community.
